Qualified "Masters" in the art of premium cigar production teach the necessary skills ranging from tobacco preparation, bunching, and matching for fillers, to the fine art of rolling as first taught by Cuban Master Rollers.

In 1998, the Indonesian government recruited trainers in Cuba and moved them to Indonesia. The result was a pool of trained Indonesian rollers capable of amazing consistency in cigar production.

PT Gelora Djaja now has almost 400 people working at the factory, which can make between 6000 and 10000 cigars a day. They have perfected their technique by producing a cigar that provides unsurpassed smoking pleasure.
